March 31, 2024 - Easy drinking, restaurant purchase. Not particularly fruit forward as the merlot kind of drowns out the Cabernet up front, but a nice bit of cherry and cassis on the back end of the finish. As a restaurant purchase that’s a good thing because it complimented the meal without overpowering it.

December 13, 2022 - Bright red fruits, well rounded but young still.

May 14, 2021 - Day 1: oak, vanilla, hollow body, cassis and red berries, unpleasant bitterness in finish. 84 p.
Day 2: oak is reduced and mote integrated, cassis is really upfront, body a little more filled up. This might be the greatest transformation I've experienced between two days. 88p.
Not a great one and at the price range its quite easy to find better in my opinion.

February 14, 2021 - Wine red, parfum de Margaux on and in the nose, worth the price to experience essence of Margaux. To taste, to drink, to be surprised. Lighter than would be expected, not much to analyze, light strawberry fruit, kiwi flavored acid, more than a bit of bitter tannins, where is the Bordeaux? In a blind tasting absent aroma, it may be difficult to guess the grape, country, continent. Mid palate is begging for its taste.

After 6 days, the wine opens up and has much more weight and concentration. Should not have pre judged after initial tasting.

October 19, 2020 - Balsam wood bouquet with red berries. On the palate it’s lean with some flesh and a tart medium finish. Decent second wine but nothing too exciting.
