Community Tasting Notes 2

January 20, 2024 - Decanted and allowed to breathe.
Perfumed on the nose with layers of bruised rose petals, rooibos, black tea, laurel leaf and spice that meet notes of dark cherry, brambleberry, and red currant with hints of cedar, sandalwood, licorice and smoky minerals.
That palate has good concentration and is lifted with great acidity. Tannins support the overall structure of the wine. Plenty of crunchy red fruit on the entry, red apple skins, wild raspberry, and cherry notes drive on the palate bringing in bramble, tea, spice, earth, desiccated florals, graphite and hints of earth and No. 2 pencil. The finish hangs on letting the structural components reverberate.

March 14, 2021 - Opened yesterday. Tasted at Winery. Excellent balance of acidity, fruit and tannins. Lots of spice on the finish. Lay it down as long as you can.
