March 28, 2024 - Bought on release, casual Thursday night wine. Pinote, nice nose, good body, good length... and a touch of elegance over and above the gourmand pleasures. Dark fruit notes, not strawberry red fruits. Nose and palate have seriously good elements, nothing candied, simple, or over-ripe in this 2018. Very well done.

October 17, 2023 - {Bought on release, perfect fill.} Rich, full. gourmand wine. This bottle showing more terroir and complexity than earlier ones. Dark cherry, slight intriguing bitterness with very satisfying fruit. Just as good on day #2 as on #1. Great qpr. Outstanding for its level.

February 28, 2023 - (bought on release, 2nd bottle of 13 purchased, sound cork} serious nose, very good volume, good length. Tasted initially from cold cellar. Very Pinote. Pretty good to start. Another 30 minutes, another notch up with more complexity. Gourmand for serious meal. Good nose, good palate presence, good length, well balanced and the weight to go with a gourmand meal. Yum.

November 29, 2020 - {Bought on recommendation Len R @ Federal; bought 13 so could taste one} Dense, dark, complete fruit, smooth, red and dark rich fruit, long finish; at 24 hours still unfurling and a pleasant drink. Tannins are there but very smooth and balanced. ? 87-91, still early going, but quite good for a villages, spherical with no protruding hard edges or imbalances. Very promising. Per Len's note, these are 50-year old vines.
