March 19, 2023 - PnP and drank over a period of 1 hours. Opened up after 30 min and was the aroma opened up as it got warmer. Wine stopper and drank the remaining two-thirds two days later. I would recommend this wine as an enjoyable guilt-free weekday pour when you have an itch in the back of your throat for some juicy yet structured red wine. At the price point, I also didn’t find any issue in letting it sit in the fridge for 2 days before finishing the bottle. Fine and smooth tannins with leathery notes. Not too complex, medium/light body, dry, slight herb notes, leather, earth, medium tannins, and good acidity. A bit thin for my liking. Retained its structure and nose on the second day of drinking. Overall, I think that this wine wasn’t too bad for the price point, however, I prefer some of the more prominent wines from this winemaker at a higher price point. Drink now but potential for aging.

November 16, 2022 - Medium ruby in glass. 30 min in decanter allowed for this wine to open. Nose medium intensity. Black pepper, liquorice, blackberry, chocolate, smoke, earth, cooked blackberry, meaty. This wine is developing.

Palate is dry, med+ acidity, med+ tannins, high alcohol, medium body. Medium flavor intensity of black pepper, blackberry, charred wood. Medium+ finish.
This is good to very good wine. Can drink now but has potential for further ageing.
