Community Tasting Notes 2

July 21, 2021 - This wine is a pale lemon in color. The wine is youthful with a med(-) intensity of aroma. I smell asparagus, lime peel, lemon peel, green apple, grass, minerality, wet stone, flint. A simple wine. The palate is consistent with the nose. This is a dry wine with high acidity, med (+) body, med alcohol, and a med(+) finish. Overall, a good wine that should be drunk now. Not suitable for further ageing.

June 24, 2021 - Tasted double blind. Clear, bright, light-gold color. Aromas of fresh lemon zest, quince and white peach, crushed chalk and limestone, white florals, ginger and salinity. Richer and rounder on the palate than expected, with ripe orange flesh, stone fruit and pear over a solid chalky mineral core, accented with tea and rose hip floral notes. High acid, fleshy and round, medium bodied. Nicely complex. Very nice.
