Community Tasting Notes 2

April 27, 2024 - Something completely new for me. Blend of chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and nebbiolo (vinified as a white wine). The sauvignon element is evident but the nebbiolo gives structure. Rich and multi-layered. Tropical and stone fruits, herbs, some spice, alongside evident but well integrated oak. Just enough acidity to keep it fresh. Long finish. The wine maker says you can age this for 7-10 years - I am not convinced (not enough acidity?) but this was certainly delicious at 5 years and could hold for another couple.

March 21, 2021 - Nice fresh and floral wine. Smell of honeysuckle and tropical fruit (lychee?). Much more floral than 2018, but I think I prefer 2018..
