June 30, 2009 - Slightly smokey black cherry aromas with some leathery and earthy tones. A bit new world and a bit fruit forward for a chianti classico, but it has a nice acidity, is well balanced and has some nice integrated tannins. A nice pizza wine now that is showing a bit young but should be better in a year or two.
