January 6, 2024 - Fantastic young auslese. Came across quite sweet at first but with air the sweetness and acidity come into nice balance. Glorious ripe pineapple orange blossom nose, lush, with a savory herbal undertone. It SMELLS full bodied. Honeyed but not too thick, great mineral backbone holding it together, the finish actually tugs between the minerality and the sweet fruit and an orange peel slightly bitter acidity really nicely. Love it. Bumping up a point on day 2.
