August 2, 2010 - nice balance, a bit aldehydic, guilty pleasure?

June 13, 2010 - Darkish golden color. Seemed overripe -- raisin-like. Began to mellow after 45 minutes, but no charm.

April 17, 2010 - Went to buy 6 of these after tasting at expected price of 30 bucks. Found it at $20, so bought a case. This is as pleasant a Cali Chard as I have had in ages. Almost straw yellow with a rich, floral nose; I was initially afraid of too much oak. No way. This is a touch creamy, a tiny touch buttery, but crisp and focused as many SB, with more depth and complexity.

January 26, 2010 - Tasted at a 2005 vintage wine tasting. Nose was of strong fruit and very subtle oak. The flavor had light to moderate oak notes but not overbearing, good, round fruit and not much acid holding it together. Definitely better than many California chardonnays out there.
