March 14, 2021 - Beautiful nose of cherry spice and sweet earth. An hour of air really helped and then the palate opened to reveal deep flavors of earthy cherry fruit and minty pine. Classically lean and taut but also giving with some mature autumnal and barnyard notes but mainly great spicy complexity on the crunchy finish. Plenty of time left here but also drinkable now with air.

April 1, 2018 - Wow, did this surprise to the upside with great dark cherry fruit and a really crunchy, complex finish. Best after an hour open and hard to stop drinking. Young but showing.

December 25, 2015 - No exaggeration on the rating -- this is exceptional, particularly after the bottle opens. Wonderful focus and balance; quite seamless, yet powerful. A fabulous mix overall, and quite good QPR, relatively speaking.
