October 3, 2022 - Pours out like thick treacle. Delicious nose: Old time Malaga, "Magenbrot" carob, dried date, some balancing acidity.
On the palate very refined, smooth, deliciously sweet without being cloying. Wonderfully creamy with a long finish. Goes down the gullet ever so smoothly. Somehow I understand why some people would want to pour this one over vanilla ice-cream even though - in this instance - it would be a terrible waste!

December 30, 2021 - (Tetsuya) Soy sauce, kicap manis, leather, prunes, printers ink, prunes, dried figs, incense, royal jelly, Chinese dried sweets, pipagao, licorice root, siok-te, luohanguo, elegant spices, cocoa dusting. Balanced, elegant, lifted, certainly dark sticky treacle. Waterberry's tonic. Gula Melaka, grandmarnier, all sorts of dark Chinese herbs, non-descript Chinese shopping centre w faded cigarette smoke. Dried papaya, dried nutmeg strips, candied ginger. Leather and shoes.

January 31, 2021 - Wow - great to see this at the bottle shop. Drank most within a few days and the last portion weeks later. Held its composure and shined throughout. Golden brown legs, coats the glass. On the palate there are rancio, toffee, vanilla, raisin and caramel medley notes, showing that fortified purity that only the best can. This will last many more years and gladly so.
