February 9, 2023 - Nose is cherry, earth, pomegranate, chocolate, and a tiny bit of vegetal/green. Palate is ripe and a bit racy with acidity, fresh fruit, but none of the chocolate, earth, or vegetal notes from the nose. I think this needs another few years in the bottle to round out. Entry is smooth, mid palate is pretty well balanced, and finish is long with medium dusty tannin.

Quality wine here, underneath a nice bouquet of fruit. Needs time. A few points upside if this develops in ‘24

    4-12-16-7

Edit: much softer in night 2. Still ripe in expression, but you can see where this is going.

October 13, 2022 - Agree 100% with the descriptions in RBHAN12's Feb. 16, 2022 note. Poured this into the glass about 45 minutes before drinking. Light- to medium-bodied and food-friendly (I drank with sushi); a little on the sour/tart side but healthy acidity. Could soften a bit with more air or more time. Good value at this price.

May 6, 2022 - Good balance; bright cherry notes and soft tannins. Happy for the price I paid.

February 16, 2022 - PnP into Zalto Burgundy glass, followed for a few hours.

Nose is rather faint, but I'm getting mostly nutmeg with dark fruit and crushed rocks underneath. Maybe some underbrush when I swirl the glass. Palate is medium light body, proper cherry, nice tinge from acid, and maybe a touch of herb. Finish is back to spice, rocks, and then finishes with cherry and raspberry jam. Subtle tannins dry the palate.

Liked this much more than Blend A, but not a stunner. Drinking well now, and I would say for the price ($15-18) it is unbeatable.

Drink now or hold for a few years. I don't see this aging long term but happy to be wrong.

December 28, 2021 - Med garnet. Med intensity aromas that smells like PN - not always common at lower price points: gentle cherry, surrounded by a subtle savory and cola elements. On the palate, medium body - a balance of dark cherry flavors and just enough tart acidity. Med tannins that were less felt with food (roasted salmon steaks). Lengthy finish, with little change in flavors or feel. Delicious and well-made OR Pinot - less aggressively fruity than some California examples, but still full of flavor and so food friendly.
