August 12, 2023 - Opened a 2017 vintage bottle in Aug 2023. Stored in chiller. Decanted for ~1 hour. Pleasant enough Merlot. Plenty of fruit, very little tannins. Easy to drink and paired well with a (non spicy) stir-fried noodles with sliced beef.

July 9, 2023 - Nose of gentle berries and soft florals, and a bit of damp earth. Chocolate surface with time. The nose here is very soft in the fruit department but stays quite aromatic.
Flavors of dark red and soft black fruits, gentle earth, dry minerals and dried prickly oak. Gentle on the palate. Gains a bit of heat with time unfortunately but still good. -

October 29, 2022 - Sexy, smooth with all the Merlot-fixers in term of chocolate, some tobacco, rich creamy fruit. Nice acidity, nice balance. Will keep, but drinking window has opened.

This took some time to pop open.
Not very complex, yet enjoyable.
Time in the cellar with help this wine in the long run.
