  April 2, 2024 - screw cap, purple red colour, distinct legs on the glass, mulberry rich fruit nose, with some complexity, nice depth on the palate and soft tannins, not subtle but very inviting, I agree with the criticism that it is a bit simple but it is an ideal “second bottle”, “grab as required” or party wine, and for that it is admirable, the bottle tends to go at an alarming rate, maybe it would gain subtlety and nuance with age but my bottles are unlikely to get the chance, top QPR

  February 24, 2023 - screw cap, no sediment, black purple-red colour, fruity but remarkably complex nose considering this is only 2018, very good indeed, palate has very nice fruit, good length and balance with dry tannins at finish keeping it all together, top material and winemaking, cool and quite elegant, could improve but may not get the chance because it is so enjoyable and easy to drink now, my current grab-at-the-last-moment wine, great QPR

  April 12, 2022 - screw cap, no sediment, popped and poured, nearly opaque purple black-red colour to very rim, fruity, fine nose, nuanced even at this young age, smooth, rich, quite powerful, balanced palate, remarkably easy drinking, smooth tannins at the finish, very clean, nice wine already, from balance could age but question is whether it has the necessary depth, however good drinking now, top QPR

  September 25, 2021 - Quintessential Margaret River Cab. Just what I've been looking for. Lovely smooth finish with soft tannins.
