December 22, 2018 - Decanted 1 hour. Nice leather and licorice. This is finally tasting more Bordeaux then California.

August 22, 2015 - Drank this not a minute too soon. Decanted for half an hour and served with grilled chicken. This is a mellow graceful wine with rich plum flavor. She is a grand dame. Good job Bravante.

August 21, 2008 - Wow the lavendar in this is amazing, must be the cab franc

April 21, 2008 - Was nervous because the cork just slid out without any effort, but wa'la a perfect drinking wine without it's usual decanting. Enough air leaked in and I caught it right in it's sweet spot. I wish my friends were around to taste this. WOW! The only other wine that can compete in this price range for napa red value is the recent 05' Honig cab, but the Bravante is a notch above. If you can get this for $27 buy all you can and laugh all the way to you cellar. The O3' is of the same quality.

November 23, 2007 - Big time yum. Takes about 30-45 minutes to open. Great blend of cab, merlot and cab franc. At $26.99 this is my qpr of the year. This producer makes wines that taste twice the price. Just had the 03' merlot and Trio and they both rocked.
