September 22, 2022 - Ruby red. Nose is mixed spices, violets and redcurrant crunchiness. Structured and dry opening tasting, peppery notes, crisp redcurrant. Consistent with previous bottles. Good.
As with previous bottles, better second night - more knitted together and smooth. -

August 5, 2022 - Ruby red. Violets and menthol, blackcurrants and redcurrants nose. Dryish opening, black fruits and peppery spice, warming notes and grippy tannins. A little bit austere? Opens up after a few glasses, and brighter acidity supports it well. Enjoyable.

July 29, 2022 - Light ruby red. A tinge of sulphur, soft warm black fruit nose, a background of redcurrant and breeze of warm Christmas spices. Opens with some tannin and dry red fruit, pepper and spice, warming menthol and a slightly austere grip. Needs to open up more. 2nd night, excellent open red and black fruits, nice tannin support, a completely different wine. Full Bourgogne enjoyability.
