  November 11, 2020 - 15.2% abv. Dark crimson magenta color, dark core. Nose is slightly subdued (it’s still a baby) mostly black and red fruits, some heat, violets, some oak, tobacco. Med plus weight, mouth coating tannins that subside in about 20 seconds that give way to dark chocolate covered raspberries, Christmas cake, licorice, and a long spicy finish that lasts well over a minute. This is a riper hedonistically styled cab franc made with very solid BTK fruit, and the longer hang time/high alcohol needs to suit your palate, but I find it very captivating stuff that drinks well now and surely for at least another decade+. Bravo
