June 18, 2011 - Really stinky on the nose, young. Hints of rotten orange few. Way too young for a reserva. I'm sure the regular Yellowtail Chardonnay is superior.

2nd Day: Stank is reduced, and the wine is more drinkable, albeit watered-down. I think today is a more honest showing for what this wine is. And it's not impressive. Sticking with 80pts.

October 25, 2009 - I also had high hopes for this, but the nose betrayed this wine! Golden yellow in the glass, the nose reminded me of cotton candy and over-ripe tropical fruit. Perhaps its over the hill already, but it was nearly spritzy with acidity and the seeming unnatural butter/vanilla notes. Quite weird overall, and will not be purchased again.

May 9, 2009 - No formal note on this one. This was an unusual yellow in the glass. This will sound disgusting, but it was the color of urine the morning after a night of beer drinking. The nose was some tropical fruit, but the dominant aroma was bananas foster. That continued on the palate. The finish was unmemorable. I had high hopes for this one because I liked the non-reserve char so much more than I expected, but something was off about this. The bananas on the nose makes me think it could've been a bottle or cork problem, but the wine didn't really taste corrupted. I might be willing to try again, but I can't recommend it.

March 26, 2009 - Basic Chardonnay. Bottle #2 is done - and never to be seen again. Seek other options - just "there."

December 22, 2008 - Very basic chardonnay. Nothing particularly noteworthy. Drinkable - but not something I will seek out again.
