March 17, 2021 - As lovely as ever. Plenty of life left - shame this was my last.

November 30, 2019 - A bit closed at first, but stunning with an hour to breathe. Perfect balance, really pleasant, not frail or aged at all. Not going to improve, but no rush.

June 3, 2012 - Much nicer than expected. Really good, tight cork. Mature but not funky nose. Good fruit, a bit light, but well balanced and a real treat with roast capon. Not getting better but should hold for years.

July 30, 2007 - Fading a little, but the fresh acidity was pleasing. Drink up

January 17, 1987 - Dark purple red. Expressive bouquet with cassis fruit, oak and liquorice. The taste however is a disappointment. The tannin is harsh and too acidic. There are some good black currants in the aftertaste, but overall the acidity is playing a too major role. I wonder if this ever will be a pleasurable wine. In my score I give the wine the benefit of the doubt.
