March 27, 2022 - Outstanding, should age wonderfully, will wait another 10 years to drink the second bottle I have.

September 9, 2021 - BLIND REDS - Bordeaux varietals (mostly Napa and BDX) - Over/Under $100: Commanding blackberry flavors provide immediate flavor-savor Napa Cab fun. Powerfully endearing, this wine has the ability to display authority and a bit of grace, equating to an accessible wine that has a serious side to it with its sturdy frame surrounding the core of extracted fruit. Finishes youthfully fuzzy and slightly bitter, but only briefly before the waves of fruit come washing back in and close the deal with a blackberry upsurge on the back end. A wine that can be drunk now, but will likely gain some finesse over the coming 3-5+ years.

    Not blind.

June 15, 2021 - Thinking about buying more to lay down in light of the 98 rating from Dunnuck but wanted to get an idea where the wine is at first. A pleasant surprise for such a youthful 2018 cab. Dark purple fruit - red & black currants, dark cherry, and blackberry. Really smooth mid-palate with a beautiful purity and nice depth/concentration. Nice rich/vibrant flavors of dark berries, some spice/licorice, cassis, a little cocoa, and a graphite component. Fairly long finish. Decanted for three hours and drank over a couple more. Improved a little with time but drinking quite well after the decant despite its youth. A miss from Erin Brooks of WA with the 91 rating.

January 29, 2021 - dark berry, dark plumb, black currant, mocha, dark chocolate, tobacco aka cigar box, macerated blackberry, persistent fine grain tannins, acidity with citrus maybe grapefruit, vanilla, safe: in fact, going to order a case
