January 19, 2024 - Big and bold with lots of dark fruits. Decanted for about an hour. Still quite tannic. Could use 2 years in the cellar to come together a bit more.

October 2, 2023 - With bbq chicken at home after Liz hike to Hessie trailhead. Lovely california. A bit flat on mid palate and you get a bit of burn from the alcohol. A bit low in acidity. Overall balances out pretty well and we both enjoyed it.
