  November 17, 2023 - Fairly high alcohol aroma on the nose. Lots of legs and she knows how to use them. Although I prefer some oak in my reds, it’s well balanced and goes great with pizza. Not too acidic. Dry.

  January 18, 2023 - EYES: Moderate ruby color; not many legs, and slow to form
  NOSE: Moderate notes of sweet cherry, slight balsamic/vinegar tone underneath (but not unpleasant); also some herbal notes
  MOUTH: Very smooth but bold, with a lot of tannins; extremely dry and tannic; starts fruity, then hits with cotton-like tannins, and then a mellow heat follows; opened up more over time; Also a slight coffee aftertaste
  OVERALL: Really enjoyed this wine... even had 2 glasses a couple of nights instead of the usual one; complex enough to be interesting, but not so much as to be challenging; would buy this again!
