April 6, 2024 - Floral nose, maybe violet, alcohol, some berry but overall restrained aromas. Tastes of blackberry, blueberry, barely ripe plum. Firm, somewhat grippy tannins and some of that floral character as well. Complex, interesting and definitely young. Will sit on remaining two bottles for a few more years.

February 18, 2024 - Two hour decant. Deep dark ruby magenta color, with a nearly opaque black core. Boysenberry, blackberry, milk chocolate, pine nut (and needles), and subtle suede. Dry, satiny palate, with nice, lingering acidity. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.

This is very well made, although not in my favorite style. It’s definitely got a Bordeaux sensibility, with a bit of earthiness.

March 18, 2023 - PNP and drank over the next 2 hours. Third wine of the night with Mr. Ms Mark1npt. The first 2, both Cabs , 18 Hillside Select and a 16 Saunter were both excellent and in the 94-95 range for me. So I was surprised I enjoyed this wine so much. What was striking about it was the pure strong wild berry fruit that just floated my boat. I didn't get a lot of that bloody meat character I always like in MS fruit and the nose wasn't particularly expressive or this would have scored even higher. It's possible that may have arisen with more air but alas it didn't last. This was a well-balanced, fruit forward modern napa cab that I really loved. HMC

March 4, 2023 - Ridiculous legs- dripping like the poison down snow white’s apple- But not an overly alcoholic wine at all under 15%. Really well put together wine with great fruit. Drank best 2-3 hours in. Will age well in the medium term but happily drinking now.

March 12, 2022 - First bottle of a 3 pack back here at home after having it at the winery back in January, served as a pnp to our group then. Consistent at the pnp tonight with big juicy fruit, cassis and fine MH notes. Evolves into deeper more complex wine over the next 2 hours. A tinge of iron pan, more herbs and a slight bitterness to the ending with the fruit at 4+ hours indicating this is still young and needs more time but if you want to pop one now, drink it in the first 2-3 hours....superb wine.
