September 6, 2023 - PnP. Nose of roses and blood orange and dusty earth. Black cherry, candied cherry, load of floral flavors and plummy earth. Broad tannins, very tart acidity, white pepper on a quick finish.

October 24, 2022 - Quite reticent, even over two days. Piercing, light, vivacious...but not particularly expansive or captivating. It may be in a phase. Not my favorite vintage of Cuvée J.

Light and pretty, with a noticeable, seemingly excessive, deep kiss of quality oak. We finished the bottle fairly quickly. The last half glass showed best. Let it breathe. -
