  The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle.

  A well made wine. 2013 was better. The price is comparable to wines from Napa and Sonoma that cost $150+

  April 23, 2022 - I have three of these I acquired at a deal and wanted to give one a try here just to see how it was coming along. Double decanted, no sediment and it seems this could go a lot longer. It was good and not overly impressive but I will be sitting on the others for a few more years to see how it develops. At my acquisition price, this is a great value and a solid wine that seems built for aging. Back to the cellar with the other two!

  December 15, 2021 - This Cabernet sports a deep, dark, inviting nose of currants and blueberries, with complex elements of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted chestnut and herbal, floral tones – just a beautiful, enticing aromatic display. The palate delivers what the nose promises, with deep concentration and grippy tannins but lively acidity and plenty of freshness. Tangy blueberries, blackberries and figs, mixes with smoky, earthy tones, and iron/graphite elements. A wine worthy of cellar contemplation and the choicest grilled meats, this is a delightful Mendoza Cabernet.
