March 31, 2022 - Alto Piemonte (Terra Rossa): Quite oaky at first, although that seemed to blow off/integrate pretty quickly, revealing more of the wine's charm. Densely packed with red fruit and with fine sandy tannins. Very quaffable but seemed a touch ponderous next to the Sorpasso.

February 5, 2022 - What a joyful wine. Bright acidity forms the core of this wine and it is filled out with beautiful red berries, cherry and floral notes. Certain softness to the tannins and tons of energy. A delight over a winter lunch.
