  December 13, 2023 - Surprisingly good. White pepper, red berries, smooth with decent tannic grip. Medium to full bodied. A great mid-week wine. Must buy more.

  September 9, 2021 - Less concentration than the Gand reserve, all others are perfect, a rich, smooth and well balanced HB Syrah, no mistake under the NZ$25 price tag.

  May 21, 2021 - Dense dark red, purple hue. Open nose, dark fruits, spices, violet hints. Medium body, grainy tannins, smooth texture. Medium dry finish with oak and black pepper notes. All good and well polished, just expect a little more density as this one has so many accolades: NZIWS trophy, Royal Easter Gold, Hawkes Bay Wine Awards Gold, BC 95
