    November 18, 2022 - Tasted after a 90 minute decant.
Dark ruby in colour with somewhat restrained aromas of cassis, cocoa, pipe tobacco, oak & herbaceous earth.
On the palate, full bodied very tart black fruit, blackberry, cassis, cocoa/chocolate, herbal note, well integrated oak, medium to high acidity, high slightly angular tannins with a long finish to black pepper & black cherry. Very aggressive at this point, but fun to drink now with great cellar potential!
