July 29, 2023 - Exactly the style of Chardonnay that I enjoy drinking. It's fine & precise, yet holds so much power and concentration. Matured in 20% new French oak for 10 months. The wood is in harmony perfectly with the fruit, with linear acidity. Nougat, nutty, melon, citrus & white grilled nectarine. Burgundian in style, this reminded me of drinking Picardy Chardonnay from Pemberton. Ageing potential here too, and very fairly priced.

September 17, 2022 - Modern Australian Chardonnay Tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Pretty citrus fruit, a little orange, mandarin, lemon, a touch of sherbet and the merest whisper of bacon fat. Nice nose. juicy and the palate is a reflection of the nose, textured burr tugs at the mid and back palate. Medium plus length finishes with non-intrusive alcohol warmth. Nice.
