March 6, 2022 - My last of these, and this one was impressive. So much lively intensity of beautiful fruit right upon opening. Good concentration. None of the savory aspect I get with wines from Sonoma (which I find unwelcome). This is great value compared to Napa. Worth stocking up on as a value.

    May 13, 2021 - A 93 from WE

    $20 at KL wines

Was only able to decant for one hour(needed my wine!). Take Aero’s advice and give it a longer decant. Looking forward to see how it changes come tomorrow night.

Can’t improve upon what others have stated.

Is doing very well with the Gentlemen’s pizza from Humble Bistro(shameless plug for the best pizza) on High Street.

    👍

January 7, 2021 - Deep violet color. Nose: black licorice, blackberry, green peppercorn. Palate: full-bodied, black fruit, medium acid, moderately coarse tannins, neutral oak. This is a solid cab that tastes much younger than its age. Drinks very well, with a straightforward profile that should continue for years. A great value for $20, would buy again. Tastes like a napa cab, similar profile to something like a ferrari-carano. 91+

December 26, 2020 - No formal note. Full bodied, dark Malbec-like color, modern style. Nose, entry, and finish are disjointed and never fully come together, but the mid-palate is joyful - blend of austere tones of CS and berries of Syrah. It needed three or so hours of air. 87-88

December 7, 2020 - Very impressed with this. You would never know it's $20. Great value, probably on account of the appellation. Pretty balanced, very nice fruit profile, showing well right now. 92+pts. Case-worthy for every day drinking.
