December 21, 2013 - Turning brown, smelled and tasted like sour relish and got worse with air.

April 14, 2012 - This Alcina is drinking really well right now. I have heard of some 06 bad bottles, but this was not one of them. Also, I drank a friend's bottle about a month ago and it was really good. Surprised both of us. I think this is the richest of all Alcina Pinots with darker fruit than other Sangiacomos. Expressive nose and a good amount of acidity on the back end. Went well with the pasta we had.

December 25, 2010 - Probably at it s peak. Still has fruit and acidity enough to dance.

August 15, 2010 - Opened for 2 hrs. A dark and strong styled pinot. Very enjoyable and tasty.
