February 10, 2024 - delicious now, long life ahead. Familiar Spring mountain notes... very blue and sweet. No decant, day 2 better than day 1.

December 23, 2023 - Brilliant wine. Wife and I loved the ‘18 as much as the ‘19. Sipping this, we were transported back to the barn at Fe wines in October. So expressive, so balanced, such a gorgeous wines. Plenty of pronounced reddish black fruits, rich minerals, crushed rocks, aniseed, cinnamon, fennel with a little bit of wintergreen. Softening tannins with 4 hour decant, bright acids, long finish. What a great wine made by Aaron Pott!

June 10, 2023 - Black, red and blue berries, sage, mountain laurel, pine brush and sweet cassis. There is a bit of anise, and sturdy mountain tannin. This is a really interesting site, and the wine is incredibly expressive. Abv is in check and the oak is not too pronounced either. Remarkable first release here.
