February 29, 2024 - Clear pale ruby; clean medium nose of cherries, strawberries and soil; dry; high acidity; medium rough tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter and follows nose; long finish; very simple and fruit forward at this stage - needs a lot of time; tasted non-blind at LCBO dinner

October 29, 2023 - Fresh and vibrant. Very nice acidity and some darker fruits on display. Well behaved tannins, superb length! Very young at this stage so rating reflects its potential.

Tannins are present but soft even for the youthful vintage

A mix of red and blue berry fruit, dark plum skins, lots of deep floral that gives a wonderful fresh lift to the wine. Palate is full of fresh, ripe fruit. Lots of density. Very fresh and energetic all throughout with a powerful, lengthy finish. Really super Clos Vougeot.
