December 7, 2022 - Super bright and focused. Strawberry, watermelon, bitter melon, cranberry.

Not the tannin structure that I would expect in a moulin-a-vent, these are finer tannins.

January 15, 2022 - Lukt av frukt og gran. Litt tannin, rolig syre og litt kort.

July 7, 2021 - Very smooth on the palate with subtle notes of black fruit. An enjoyable “summer red”.

May 22, 2021 - Truly lovely- the best wood-aged, "serious" (?) Beaujolais I've had in ages. Where other Moulin-a-Vents such as Thibault liger Belair and Richard Rottiers have seemed super austere and cold to me, this seemed bright and forward, immediately delicious but showing some cool complexity and excellent balance.

Wouldn't have guessed 14.5% ABV at all- bright fruit on the nose, red cherry, dark raspberry, maybe even some blue/purple tones- kinda stemmy and with a bit of that "candied" Bojo thing, watermelon, etc. A pinch of delicious funk, thyme, and wet stone minerals. The faintest echo of vanilla. The palate feels exactly the same as the nose, all the fresh fruit, mostly super well-integrated acidity, very fine tannins that might facilitate aging (it's an excellent Moulin-a-Vent after all)- but already so enjoyable at this stage. The fruit is so energetic, but shows as a broad color spectrum, not just a bunch of strawberry, etc.

In the very upper echelon of ~$25 wines for sure. Maybe it's a little tart sometimes, but could easily age. Hard to see how a Cru Bojo could get much better for this price- bright and fresh, but structured and complex. Unreal QPR. Rated the same as a few others excellent Bojo crus in the same approx price range, but I think this one will also have a longer lifespan than most and would evolve in interesting ways.
