March 29, 2024 - Decanted in a restaurant. Excellent structure with toasted berry fruit, florals, dark chocolate, graphite, leather and crushed pebbles. Bold Cabernet franc with great balance and harmony.

December 7, 2021 - This is all about the lusciously textured, rich, dense layers of chocolate-covered cherries, flowers, spice, and blue fruits. Packed with layers of ripe, sweet, opulent fruits, as rich as it is, it is also fresh, complex, long and nuanced.

November 7, 2021 - Vinetasters: Cabernet Franc (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. Bitter, high-toned, high extraction wine with the typical vanilla and black cherry profile. Fine if you like that kind of stuff, much less so if you're expecting a modicum of cabernet franc character to show through here. Oddly, the palate feels dilute despite all the ripeness, as if the wine hasn't really integrated very well. I wonder if it's nigh impossible to make wines that show more freshness and acidity at this point in Napa. My 2nd, group's 2nd.
