December 18, 2022 - Nice etna rosso, but I actually think this will be better with a few more years of bottle age. Not exactly tannic but 'tense'. That combination of fruit and energy will probably make it a pretty great value in a few years, but I prefer the Benanti Etna Rosso right now, even if it might not have the potential of the Pietradolce.

December 2, 2022 - Drank the last bottle of four over a period of one year. This wine has now developed into something very drinkable - great balance between fruit acitdiy and tannins. Great example of the Nerello Mascalese grape.
