  March 16, 2024 - After 6 years, I think I hit it right before it peaked. Upon first opening, wine aromas were still closed. Needed at least 1 hour to open up. I've tasted this wine back in 2021 timeframe on several occasions. It really showed red and black fruits but was a bit too tannic and sweet.
  
  Today the aromas are still not complex and the vanilla/molasses sweetness is more subdued. Has a nice baking spice on the center pallet. Red fruit/dark cherry is more pronounced than black fruits. Light extraction of fruit helps with mouthfeel so it's not "watered down".
  
  The finish is not long, but makes you take another drink. Overall pleasant cabernet from a good year. And for about $30 it's a nice value. I'd pick up another 2018 if I could find it. Stay home, watch a movie, drink this and be happy.
