November 23, 2022 - This is delicious cool coastal chardonnay ; the dominant buttery malo mandarin acidity, and the subtle but persistent salinity are reliable tags to its origin. Needs 53-56 degree temp and 30 minutes of aeration to show its stuff: Custardy cherimoya, guava, floral peppercorns, and white apricot. Finish narrows to mostly simple acidity but also shows white oak and clean and dusty minerals. Well made, but missing just a bit of length, and palate complexity to merit a higher score. Great for crab cakes and grilled shrimp, hold the garlic. Great QPR, if under $35.

March 18, 2021 - This is a nice Chardonnay from California.

Showing light oak, citrus, lemons, apples, pears, vegetables, earth, spices and black pepper.

Earthier on the nose and fruiy on the palate.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Tangy finish with limes and lemons.

Good by itself or with food. Has good potential to age nicely in the next 3 to 5 years.

This Single Vineyard needs 20 minutes of airtime to open up properly, so be patient with it.

I paired it with a beautiful day by the lake.

    13.7% alcohol by volume.

    89 points.

    $38.

January 30, 2021 - Beautiful pale golden in color with a green tint.

Strong nose of citrus, oak, vanilla, lemons, yellow and red apples, minerals, spices and light honey.

Medium plus in body and refreshing, with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with limes, citrus, spices, vanilla, apples, oak, pears, herbs and light vegetables.

Tangy finish with limes and light grapefruits.

This is a nice Chardonnay from Central Coast in California. Oaky yet refreshing. Tangy and engaging with nice complexity.

A nice wine to sip on by the pool and good by itself.

Nicely balanced and good right out of the bottle.

Would be nice to see how this 3 year old evolves in the next 5 years.

Fermented and aged in French Oak barrels for 9 months.

    13.7% alcohol by volume.

    89 points.

    $38.
