January 21, 2020 - Last bottle. Cork disintegrated upon opening. Dark ruby color. Filtered and decanted. Opened up in 15 minutes. blackberry and cherry flavor, soft tannins. Past prime but wonderful.

December 5, 2013 - Opened with dinner. Very dark red to purple, medium body. Lively and fresh, bright, slightly green aromas of cherry, some cedar, eucalyptus, dust, cassis and cocoa. Fully resolved and smooth, this glides on a cherry liquor carpet ride through a moderate, slightly clipped finish. Very solid for a 2000, enjoyable offering. Certainly not well past prime as WS suggests at 2008, but likely won't improve considerably. Day two + under vac-u-vin the acidity has picked up, along with currant/cranberry notes.
