June 15, 2021 - Really impressive wine considering how inexpensive it was (~$12). Savory, dusty tannins, vibrant berry fruit with some sophisticated cassis notes, velvet mouthfeel.

May 11, 2021 - It smells like black fruit, blackberries, black cherries, raspberries. It tastes like oak, black cherry, black currant, cedar, baking spices, graphite. The body is medium/full. The wine has medium acidity.

December 2, 2020 - Black fruits. Chocolate. Mint and baking spice. Licorice. A bitter component runs through this that I find unpleasant. Often times my wife and I enjoy drinking wine before or after dinner and not always during. This is a food wine and is not recommended on its own.

To be fair this was better on day two. Really a pretty good weeknight quaffer.
