October 26, 2023 - Deep Rich bold fruit - lush Blackberry with hints of smoke & black pepper. Slightly tight tannins that softened after a decanting for an hour or so. Integrated acidity - complex long finish with a note of Graphite - a power house Thomas Rivers Brown wine.

October 4, 2023 - A deviation from the traditional and classic TRB wine, this is one for those who enjoy an old school style. A dark and rich purple color, it shows a sharp nose of currant, lead, and espresso. On the palate, it tastes of dried fruit, cedar, and a touch of tar. It’s wonderfully textured, with classic diamond mountain tannins and a long, powerful finish. I do think this could benefit from more time in the bottle, so drink from 2025 or decant for an hour or two if you feel like opening now.

December 27, 2022 - Eye: deep dark purple color. Nose: anise, smoke, berries. Palate: elegant, black currants, solid structure, great mouthfeel, long finish.
