March 10, 2014 - Crimson in color with slight bricking on the edge of the glass. Red fruits, nutmeg, cloves and earth on the nose. 14.2% ABV. Beautiful texture, perfect acidity and exceptional balance. Tea, cherry, mushrooms, pomegranate, sassafras and cranberry on the palate. At 13 years of age this wine still has great concentration of fruit. The finish is endless. Drink over the next 1-3 years.

July 29, 2012 - Corked, too bad I would have liked to see how these age...

June 25, 2012 - Quite pleasant and drinking well now.

June 22, 2012 - Darker fruit profile and softer acidity than most other Rochilois i've had. Perfect balance and in its prime drinking window.

September 24, 2011 - Mature deep red fruits. Perfectly balanced. Seemless with a great full midpalate. Fully resolved tannins but just enough structure to knit evrything together. Succulent and sweet ripe fruit. Graceful and georgous. Another great 2001 Rochioli.
