March 1, 2024 - Double decanted and enjoyed this with pasta. Balanced, silky tannins.

November 19, 2023 - Ok wine. Medium body. Didnt rock my world. Good match with penne a la vodka.

October 9, 2023 - Not bad for a daily drinking well. Drinking well now. Taste light on the body with notes of red and black fruits. Drink up now, will not improve.

October 7, 2023 - Entering into its drinking window now. Really enjoyable at this point but still has time to evolve.

(4/21/2021) Of medium color and intensity for a Brunello. Definitely of the new (rather than traditional) style, emphasizing the use of smaller, newer barrels rather than larger, older casks. Splintery oak is apparent, along with the classic cherry fruit associated with sangiovese. Because of its higher acidity than many Brunellos, it's somewhat more like a riserva Chianti (albeit an excellent one) than a traditional Brunello. Needs time to fully integrate.

    August 22, 2023 - DnP
    Dark red, red tinged, 5
Dense dark fruity aroma, cask sweetness behind
Smooth palate, m+T, mA, h-B, dry, again dense dark fruits with a sweet touch
    Drink now - 2028
Too international style for my taste although a good wine in the making

May 13, 2023 - Great bottle of wine. Subtle nose but lots of structure in the glass. A bottle decant softened the tannins modestly while keeping a richness on the palate. Rigatoni with tomato cream sauce and sausage paired perfectly with the wine.

May 8, 2023 - Seldom do I agree with Mr Suckling and his inflated ratings, but on this bottle, 95 or more is the right rating. Beautiful red plum color of medium body. Nose is a bouquet of grape, flower and mineral smells. The initial taste shows a slightly sweet red grape and raspberry, finely blended with a dry blueberry. The flavors throughout we superbly melded together through the middle. The fine tannins come through at the middle and end and make a luxurious, smooth and dry finish to the wine

November 5, 2022 - Lots of big primart fruit. Would have thought this a Californian or Spanish wine.

September 7, 2022 - drank over two days but it was a bit jammier and oakier than I prefer. I’m thinking a couple of more years may help it mellow out.
