April 1, 2024 - This wine was really good. Best on day one by a long shot, but red fruited with ample spice. Muscular, almost gevrey styled, and somewhat rustic. Maybe a little bit of stem, but really tasty and impressive overall wine at its level. I believe it was Kelley who said this wine is the best value in the lineup, and that shows with this bottle.

March 5, 2024 - Opened after a corked '18; this was singing and was really delicious; maybe the best version of this wine I've had; fresh red fruits, a hint of citrus peel, floral, mineral, and maybe just a hint of sanguine; palate is delicious with good density and intensity for the level, but also great vibrancy for the vintage; the whole package is simply delicious and I couldn't stop refilling my cup...

July 3, 2023 - Truly enjoyable! As I repeat often, Bachelet defines the finest CdeNV. The 2019 is not yet displaying the full array of sinewy light fruit and flowers that characterize his properly - aged CdeNVs, but it is delicious now. I would hold for another year or two. Then the combination of mid red fruits and high-toned, floral red fruits will flower.
