Community Tasting Notes 2

November 9, 2007 - I drank this over the course of 3 days. My first impression was like licking a cedar plank. It opened up though over the next couple days and actually kind of grew on me each day. It wasn't really balanced. Label says 16.2% alcohol and it showed. This wine was a gift included in a wine basket, so I do not know the price point. Based on taste alone, I would not buy it again.

September 17, 2007 - Surprisingly yummy for an obscure odd bottle that somehow ended up in the Cave. Mellowed tannins bring out the dark plum and oak flavors. Drank it with Phil prior to a Chicken dinner.
