August 22, 2013 - You can see the age of this wine from its color. The fruit is starting to fade and while it is still an interesting fruit forward style the Shiraz was starting the let the merlot shine through. The finish was interesting but did not last long enough to remember and the acidity was the only thing surprising about this wine. Okay but not great.

August 14, 2011 - Still completely drinkable for me. Cassis fruit with cedar and tobacco. Age softened tannins. Opaque purple with some brown at the margins. High alcohol overwhelms raspberry note on the nose.

July 10, 2007 - Shared it with Steve and Amy after a dinner of spicy fajitas. Dark, murky brown color. Not much nose, but a remarkably concentrated berry fruit with an intense tart, citrus quality. A fantastically good wine for the price... how did Trader Joe's end up stocking this?
