Community Tasting Notes 6

January 10, 2024 - Lots of depth. Rich red fruits, medium acidity, medium to full tannins. First day a bit of asphalt on the finish. Second day after vacuum and refrigerator the asphalt turned into a pleasant licorice and wet stone accent. So this should be better in a few years or with a few hours of decanting.

November 9, 2023 - Well balanced. Nice black cherry and blueberry fruit with a little anise backed by firm acidity and dusty tannins. High value wine.

December 2, 2021 - Wine Wizards Monthly Tasting (Wine Wizards Stockton): Tasted last January and no change in my notes this time except I have tasted three wines by this producer today and all have the same lack of finesse. Tannic and incomplete

February 2, 2021 - That's got some roasty toasty fruit to it. Pretty darn gutsy on the palate. Its youthful now and will go further. A good example of the region if not to my taste.
