March 17, 2024 - Really dossapointed given the price point and how much I otherwise like Daou's other basic cabs.
Nose was beautiful bouquet of dark fruit and floral notes. But on the pallette it was flat and boring. Fruit forward but out of balance. No complexity. Short finish. High acidity and low tannins. Definitely would not buy another bottle or glass. -

September 21, 2022 - Color deep ruby. Nose black currant, vanilla, chocolate. Medium black fruit acidity on the attack. Pretty big body vanilla, spice, strong floral notes. Grippy tannins. A well-structured full-bodied wine.

April 3, 2021 - There are much better wines for the $100 price. I served this at a party and the party goers did not enjoy the wine.
