May 14, 2021 - Powerful rich nose, suggesting residual sugar.
Complex, powerful, engaging. A fair dose of residual sugar. Wonderfully rich and engaging. Good length and power. As one who is not a fan of Pinot gris, this wine transcends the variety and speaks to the site, the viticulture and the winemaking. Wonderful to experience. Now - 10 years. -

September 4, 2020 - Tasted after 2018 Pinot Gris Clos St Urbain. Riper fruit on the nose, richer, notes of herbs, also more depth and detail. More weight and alcohol, super mineral and intense, very long. 92-93+
