Community Tasting Notes 7

  • dlu Likes this wine:

November 12, 2023 - Tends slightly to the masculine, savory end of Pinot, with enough acidity to work went many dishes. In more detail: darkish robe, aromas of mushrooms, almonds, and a hint of pepper. Bright attack, red and black fruits (tending to the latter), light and polished tannins, and a medium length finish. QPR--in the scale of vineyard prices--is unbeatable.

  • Rudolph Schmidt Likes this wine:

    April 21, 2022 - 16m French oak with 30% new.

Double decanted. Dark berries, forest floor, black tea, cherry, mocha, bay leaf. Beautiful acidity, almost like biting into a ripe cherry.

    Elegant & delicious.

February 11, 2022 - Light red color. Aromas of raspberries, red cherries and underbrush. Ripe, light-bodied fruit in the mouth with good depth and length. Lithe and uncomplicated on the palate. Not a great value.

February 8, 2022 - Really great value Pinot Noir from Oregon. Bright red fruit with a round plush finish.

  • Vino4Cas Likes this wine:

December 27, 2021 - Very good. Stronger fruit and less earth than the grower series
